Kiesza stormed onto the scene in 2014 with her impassioned hit “Hideaway,” which has accrued over a billion streams to date. The accompanying one shot video was featured on several Best of the Decade lists. Her debut studio album Sound of a Woman topped charts globally and sold over a million units. With subsequent top tier collaborations including Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex), Deadmau5, and Francis Mercier, Kiesza has continued to evolve her sound and career independently, maintaining a strong and unique artistic profile despite a two year hiatus following a serious car crash. Her first independent album Crave received critical acclaim, paving the way for her most recent vision, a dance music series titled “Dancing and Crying.” In the summer of 2024, the single “I Go Dance” reached #1 on the US Dance Airplay Chart, marking another milestone in her career. With this achievement, Kiesza continues pushing the boundaries of dance music forward. A new era of female driven dance music, crafted by a true singer songwriter from her Toronto home base, is in full effect.
